Vanguard Furniture is a 38-year-old upholstery manufacturer and importer of casegood products who has garnered a solid reputation for quality furniture craftsmanship. Founded in 1969 to fill an obvious marketplace void and satisfy demand for velvet chairs, the company initiated production with two employees in a modest 5,000 square foot facility. Today, the organization employs over 450 associates and maintains a customer base of over 600 locally and nationally recognized retailers, designer showrooms and major department stores. As the name implies, Vanguard Furniture was conceived with the intention of being on the forefront and is recognized today as an established leader in the middle to upper-end furniture manufacturing industry.
